ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Energy costs are often the biggest expense for residential, commercial, and administrative buildings — not to mention manufacturing facilities. The first step is an analysis of existing or projected energy consumption, used to develop an energy diagnosis that then informs the design of the building envelope, the design of the systems, and the search for any available public incentives.

The design phase is essential: on one hand, insulation, windows and doors, materials, and the elimination of thermal bridges all help reduce heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer; on the other, the correct choice and sizing of heating, cooling, and domestic hot water systems allow energy consumption to be optimised.

RENEWABLE ENERGY

In addition to optimising the building itself, it’s possible to install renewable self-generation systems, such as solar thermal and photovoltaic panels, which today can easily be paired with small storage systems. The size of the system and the choice of inverter depend on the energy diagnosis.

Inet Project’s technicians can manage the installation of photovoltaic systems, stay up to date on current incentives, and can handle GSE (Gestore dei Servizi Energetici) paperwork.

The role of the EGE (Energy Manager) is mandatory in certain specific cases — typically in industrial settings and for public administrations — in order to access energy efficiency grants such as the Conto Termico 3.0.
