An agricultural business can access a wide range of grants — both for young farmers under 40 setting up their first business, with a non-repayable contribution of up to €70,000, and for improving business performance, with non-repayable contributions of up to 60% for purchasing machinery, for energy efficiency (anything related to energy production based on actual consumption), and for improving crops, such as premiums and contributions for organic farming.
There are also calls for grants covering animal welfare, fruit and vegetable producers, processing facilities (dairies, olive oil mills), and everything related to the agri-food industry, as well as tax breaks and reductions on agricultural diesel, and compensatory measures for those practising heroic farming or conservation agriculture.
Opportunities open and close over time — contact us for real-time updates on Rural Development Plans, for appraisals and valuations, for agronomic plans, and for energy efficiency projects.
